Jena Anne liebscher
California based artist Jena Anne Liebscher was born and raised in the Bay Area, and relocated to the southern portion of the state in 2017. Jena holds a BA in Studio Art from California State University, Long Beach. Her practice in varied fine arts, including painting, mixed media, and calligraphy, highlights the innate relationships between individuals and their environments. Through use of color, texture, and a strong sense of movement, her work draws inspiration from the Southern California landscapes and communities bringing such to life. Balancing strong compositional features in her paintings with clean, minimalist design through paper goods and calligraphic work, Jena’s multidisciplinary practice is both accessible and refined.
